Hows the game these days

Slaar made it clear that he didn't want content trivialized

don't think ill ever understand this considering content IS 100% trivialized by gear.

Exactly. In my opinion a tier 12 warrior with spirit harvest should be able to tank an entire low tier zone. It's the perk of spending 2 years raiding and grinding and farming. You get to be godly.

you are godly friend you might need a healer tho...... come on man if you think pulling the entire rust factory to the entrance and then having the only healer in the group spamming cataclysm was legit you're just smoking some good shit.

i think the argument here is, who the fuck cares how much shit you can pull if grinding platinum and 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 exp wasn't needed. It wouldn't accomplish anything, you could move on to bigger and better things IF they actually existed. This game will never progress past tier 13, because the next tier of items would need to be a very large power increase, however the devs won't ever allow it because it would make grinding exp and plat so much easier. Probably why all of marza's items got nerfed along with channeling and riposte.

The nerf of citadel hurt a lot I think. That zone had good rewards both in terms of XP/money but you needed a group of real players willing to pay attention. Lots of varied encounters and chances to actually die. It felt like you were earning your big xp and loot. It didn't feel like sitting in the remnants undead caves with 4 afk people jerking off for the rest of my life. And then that got nerfed(!) anyway.

But Fuwok, you didn't have to do this. It's a good argument. I didn't have to try to farm platinum and I shouldn't have tried to, frankly. All that time 2boxing ultimately made me walk away from the game.

edit: on the riposte nerf - that lance from hmal was intended for that purpose. TM wanted warriors to be able to lifetap riposte tank in the tentacle cave so he made a high proc rate weapon with lifetap on it. I tested that with him and used it for a long time and then Spirit Harvest seemed to be the logical continuation of that idea.

Then that all fell apart somehow.
