Haven't played EQ in about 2 years and had no wish to return to that exact world.

But I am really thinking this place looks exciting and am getting myself ready to see whats going on.
 
this place is pretty great. always coming up with new stuff, but not like EQ live. this stuff is classy improvements. good payer base, decent people, etc.
just beware of Ikaa, she has pointy teeth and bites.
 
I really dont want the way **** does things. I like EQ, the game mechanics and stuff are hard to beat in a very subtle way. I guess that is why it has staying power.

after looking around and finding this place (and a few others like it) I realized that there is an element of people interested in the game versus whatever the heck **** does.

i REALLY dig how you described it: classy... yeah thats what i feel as i have been reading things through, that there is a actually concern for how things work.

alright, will do so... now that i am actually playing again I have chosen a bard named Afri to play and haven't been two boxing. Im in my 20's now and I am enjoying the game very much. For anyone who may be curious, I want to say that I am finding groups to play in when i want them and I am also enjoying some of the noob quests as well.
