Thank you for taking interest in help promoting the server! Take this as a simple guide on how to stream. There are many out there and this is what I do.
Step 1: Downloading the software. [There are many streaming softwares out there and in order to keep this simple I am going to stick to one. ]
Open Broadcaster Software ( OBS ) - https://obsproject.com/ - Download the correct OS version of the software and install it on your computer.
Step 2: Create a twitch account. - https://www.twitch.tv/ - click login and create an acount.
Step 3: Get your stream API key ( you're going to need this in order for the software to be able to log into your account and stream on this account )- Login >> Click your picture on the top right >> Channel and Videos ( hold onto your key )
Step 4: Open OBS and go through the initial install. Then you will go to FILE >> Settings >> Stream.
Make sure twitch is selected and copy your API key into where it says stream key.
Step 5: In sources ( main OBS Menu) hit the + to add a source
add display capture
finally select your monitor (if using multiple)
Click ok.
