How does track work?

Really....
i dont know how it works..
because sometime the a named is on my track, sometime is not.
And by reference im at same spot.

One example is Porcelain (dunno the right name kktx) i can track him from the entrance, sa a ranger, but many times he wasnt on track, but when i get down there, there he were...

Ndhk and Edhk also have that problem.

Wonder what make them "immune" to my tracking.

Basically track has a range, which changes depending on tracking skill, pretty much everyone knows this. But track on SoD also has a limit on the number of things you can track, not sure if this is a clientside thing or not. So basically if there are more then x mobs in your tracking range, you can only see the 100 (not exactly sure on this number) most recent spawns inside your range.
