how do i sign into the game i used the name and password i created in the create account/forum account place but it says error1001 could not connect to the eq server at this time please try again later

im having the same problem. i havent played in a couple weeks, then i try to play today. i put in my password, and it says:
Error 1001: Could not connect to the ********* Server! Please try again shortly.
i tried repatching all, as this has solved minor connection issues for me in the past, no dice this time. anybody know what can be done?
oh yeah, today is 11/25/08 for the record (so u know when i had the issue).
(minutes later) lawl, problem solved. go to the main page for SoD, there u will find the link to download the new patcher, which is the only one that works now.
