my characters zoned into Tarhyl and i get the message cannot find nro... ive run the EQ patcher many times with all expansions enabled

Do a search for your .txc files (in whatever directory you SoD files are in) and delete those. Then re-run the patcher.

I wouldnt run live patcher at all!

If you havent heard, they totally revamped zones in retail EQ. Freeport, Nek forest i knowf or sure. they totally changed the wya they look. You cant freely run aroudn nek forest anymore they have guided paths and freeport is a hue fortress now. So maybe thats why people ahving problems

No. I have patched from Live since then on 2 machines, and have 2 friends who have each patched one or two machines since then as well. As long as you run the SoD patcher afterwards, doesn't seem to be any problem.
