High level and low level forums

A lot of people in the game are high level 60+. It seems that almost everytime a question is asked, (Can I do this, how does this work) the answer is always, get level 65 and 50+ aa's and everything will work fine. I have been playing the same characters since before SOD and my highest level is 54. Not everyone is in it for the end game or play enough to get there quickly. So when a level 25 is asking for some help and the answer is get 40 more levels + I don't think they are being helped much.

I was thinking about having a section for low level questions would be helpful. I think it would give the lower levels a much needed section that is more full of information that is useful to them.

Seperating them out would have some unintended repercussions. Those not uber would lose out on tons of good info and the rare answer that is something other than level up. Also, not all good ideas come from just the 65+ crowd. The server does seem geared for the raid scene, but it isnt the limitation to it. Jus tignore the constant answers to just level up or say in your opening of your post that you are looking for a real answer VS "Level up".

Actually, not a bad idea. Mid level forum, asking mid level questions. Not to be locked to those 65 & 700aa's, but would be a good source of info for those in that level. If posted as such, those with level 65 & 700AA's might have to remember... but possibly some others around that level wouldn't be A. So hesitant to ask. B. So hesitant to answer.

While yes, DB is the beginner guild, some folks just can't handle day after day of the same questions, so deguild, and end up asking tons of questions in /ooc between 20 & 50 or whenever they get into a guild. Yes, Wiki helps, but what worked for person A might not for person B.

Low / mid levels do not use the forums enough to warrant this. You'd end up with one slightly less active and one entirely dead forum.

Depending on what you're talking about, maybe the solution IS to get some levels. A substantial amount of the game revolves around improving your character, so that you can access new content.

Can you provide an example or two of when someone told you to get more levels/aas that you feel it wasn't appropriate?

I am not talking about making it so that different people can't access the forum. Just one for lower levels to ask some question pertaining to lower levels. So if you were to ask, "How can I get some money?" the answer of do VD tMaps would never show up.

A better solution would be to add a few more words in questions, like "as a mid level person"
