Hello all, i'm new to the emulated server(s) and am curious how to set it up. I have EQ installed, and set up to take me to the actual game servers, but how am I to connect to the emulated server?

check around the forums, there is a thread that gives that information step by step and i believe it has some pictures too, I believe it may be in the technical support section.


edit: the main website also has a guide(all though it is less detailed)

Thanks, i'm having a wee-bit of difficulty.

Once I get the sodpatcher file copied, etc. I click to open it and it gives me an error, so i'm doing a direct download of the patch files.

Hopefully I will get it running.

Do you have Microsoft .net installed?

I think so. I'm scanning a few posts and apparently I haven't created the SoD directory to unzip the files into? I was using my Sony->EverQuest file. Will check into the windows thing and give it another run.
