Just coming back from a long hiatus and Don't want to whip out my druid just yet, (not that I am done or anywhere near Finished him) I was just wondering what is the Best class to solo I'm torn between a Mag a bard and a necro but any suggestions are ok (except druid I already got mine for that) also I like my characters to be self suffient so cost to play (as in regents spells ect) plays a Bit of a factor
 
Bard - wears plate, damage songs use no mana unless bellowing, faster movement, and much superior innate mitigation/avoidance to necros. You can
get a bard to 65 much faster then a necro, off the same non-summoning and otherwise worthless world trash. In fact, in about 3 days of fairly casual, and completely uninterrupted for med time, soloing.

You only need 2 attributes, an ability to pick the low health red cons out of the world trash, and the ability to stomach constant circling.

Later on, you can use your bard skills to snipe nameds off noobs like all the high end charm bards have been doing since the server first loaded. An equally geared and aa-ed necro will be pounding sand.
