Hi all

Hello everybody,

I justed wanted to say to all of you hi and hopefully i will have the honour some players in game.

I'm used to play a 65 cleric in raids but that was 3 or 4 years ago.
And this time i want to take the game a little bit less active.
No more playing times of 20 hours a week lol
So if anybody has some ideas to wich class i should start let me know please.

Is it hard to get to different zones otherwise i take a druid or wizard for ports.

Or is it hard to get a group then i take a bard or necro.

Or maybe you all have other suggestions.

Please help a newb (i hate being called that but this time i have no choice)

Hi, and welcome to WR :)

If you played a Cleric on live, you might also enjoy playing one here. They are slightly different, but only in a positive way. Clerics can only effectively solo to about level 35, so I suggest you two-box if you want to play a Cleric. If two-boxing is not possible, a necro/bard/druid/wizard whatever else is great for soloing.

Enjoy, you'll kick yourself for not coming here sooner.

They meant to say 'Ranger' but it came out all wrong...

Solo...yes ranger. No healer or buffer? Ranger. Outdoors, you'll want a ranger. But my rogue does alright as well. My sneak and hide is more reliable than the ranger's and is pretty useful for scouting ahead in dungeons as well as having lockpicking. Now if you have a tank and you want to drop stuff quicker...rogue > ranger.

By no means am I dissing rangers either. I played one on live for a while (up to 39) and my best friend plays a ranger on WR. Every class has their niche. :)

I've not been here long, but it seems that traveling between the zones is more time consuming on WR than it is on live currently, but it's done in such a way to make porters more worthwhile to play, but not absolutely required for travel.

If you dont already have friends on the server, groups may be a bit hard to come by. So unless you can multi-box, some classes may be hard to level up (cleric, enchanter, warrior, etc), but even then it would be possible, just slower.

I've been playing my ranger though, and I <3 Tracking! The mob density on WR is lower, so it makes hunting in those huge outdoor zones more viable.

Traveling through zones can be alot faster than you think. If you know the right route, your not going to be traveling long.
