Hey just wanted to post on here before I start playing with a couple friends mabye. Was just wondering if everyone enjoys this server and how the lag and population is and such.
 
is there a website that I can download eqlive and patch from or do I ahve to go out and buy eq1 again? If I need to buy it wat version is good to buy just the original game or is more needed?
 
You need to buy it again if you don't have it anymore and your best bet would be to buy Titanium.

If you cant find it locally - which I hear can be a problem (wonder why their version isnt' as popular?) sony Sells a download from their site for the same prices as buying the disks. That works fine too.
 
so i just buy titaium install that then install eq1 normal patcher then i install the map pack from this site then im ready to play?
 
about how long does it take to get 65 if i will be playing with friends so we will constantly have a full group
 
Depends how long you play everyday/week.

Its definitely faster than Live. I've played probably 10 hours or less on my ranger (and most of the time, not even fighting/XPing) and I'm level 34.

My guess is a few months.
 
4 to 8 weeks if you play really hardcore and just breeze through stuff but you can extend this to almost forever if you go and check out all the awesome content/quests/adepts.

Really depends on yourself.

will everquest Platnium work? this is only one i can find for digital download on the SOE station store.
