ok i intalled eq titanium and i just downloaded sod
i ran the patcher but its stuck on getting patch list and it doesnt move after i ran the sodbin

what am i doing wrong? anyone knowww

yea i did

alright well i passed that problem
now im in the dream
but everything is like moving 100x faster than it should
and like the textures and starting to fly and expand its weird
i got 2 processors running
and i need to turn one off
but it wont let me deactive the eqgame.exe
in ctrl alt delete

Yes, yes you do. That is the fix for the issue you describe, as listed in the thread linked to you previously.

The keyword here is bind affinity.
1) Open up cntrl+alt+del >> got to processes
2) sideclick on the eqgame ( or maybe it says sod, not sure )
3) bind affinity is then displayed as an option for those people with multiple cores
4) choose a core for the game.

Some people get this problem, others run fine with multiple cores. Friend of mine is running quadcode and he needs not bind affinity.

that friend would be me i run a Q6600 (4 cores ~2.4Ghz each) on Vista64, and i dont need to bind affinity at all..


back to the problem at hand:

are you running Vista?

if so youll need to show the processes for all users before you can set affinity
