Help with wizard starfall quest circlet?

The last item I need for the Circlet of Force is a "Runecloak" from King's Pass, and the text says it was once carried by a paladin. I have been killing lots of stuff in King's Pass to no avail... pass guards, the corporal, weaponsmith, armsmaster, performer... various adventurers and merchants, none of which I think fit the description of once being a paladin except maybe the corporal or guards.

About the only thing I HAVEN'T killed are the two "keep guards" up by the castle, and one "keep guard" in one of the inns, but I don't think they are it because they're red at 39 which seems pretty high for the starfall quests...

If anyone know what drops the cloak, or even has any suggestions on where a "ex-paladin-ish" type of mob spawns (in King's Pass), I would greatly appreciate it.

Rusted Iron Circlet drops around the castle in FK off blackguards, Shield Rune semi-rare from froglok magicians, Tattered Runecloak from 'undead armsman' in the weapons shop in KP.
