I recently installed Fraps, hoping to start capturing some video of raids and such, but am having an impossible time getting it to work with SoD.
If I start Fraps, then attempt to start SoD, SoD refuses to start. The patcher opens, and I patch, then the EQW window pops up, and I click "Start E Q", EQW begins to load the game, I get the outline of the window, and then *poof*, its just disappears. No error, no crash message, nothing... it just closes. This is as far as it gets:
Now, if I start SoD first, and then start up Fraps, I get this message:
Any ideas?
Computer spec:
AMD Athelon XP 1800+ 1.53 GHz
786 MB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 5200 (with all recent drivers)
DirectX 9.0c
WinXP Pro SP2
Also, my hubby installed Fraps on his machine at the exact same time I did, and although we do not have identical machines, our SoD files are identical, we installed Fraps from the exact same .exe file, and he also uses EQW when he plays, and has had no trouble with Fraps. So, I'm concluding that the problem likely does not lie with the SoD files, the particular .exe file I used to install Fraps, or EQW.
