help please

i am new to WR...

i read the information in B3 but i still have a charecter creation problem...after i select my race, class, and distribute my points, it crashes..... i check to make sure everything was in order and it appears so... and since i dont have any custom UIs i dont see what the problem is... if there is any advice that somebody can give me that would be great... thank you...
 
My advice is to use the eqw and get into the game that way if you are not. I was having the same issues and decided to use eqw and poof got right on....never know, it might work.
 
im having some more issues....

i still cannot create a charecter but i can access charecters that are already created....the person who introduced me to winters roar told me to try to access his charecter.... well i can get to the screen that loads right before you enter the game but then the screen goes black... it doesnt crash.. just goes black...
 
You didn't apply the hotfix properly. That is your issue. Make sure you unzip the file into your EQ folder.
