Help Please

Ok, so my friend Nate has been trying to play shards of dalaya for over a week now. He's tried pretty much everything to get it to work as have I at his house. He's using windows XP with no extra firewalls like norton. He's getting the "ERROR 303 string not found" and not getting to the splash eula page. Now I know there are 600 million posts about error 303 but I've read pretty near all of them and nothing on them has worked. Here is what we have tried so far. Re-installing the game x4, repatching xXXX, deleting Eqstr_txt file thing, taking my uncorrupted Eqstr_txt file and puting it on his computer, turning off all firewalls, more repatching, and take any mix of any of those mentioned and we have tried it. He's pretty much given up hope. I'm hoping that someone can come up with a fix that we haven't figured out yet.

Ugh. Well, I'd try deleting the files.txt in the release folder first.

Second, try to run it *without* using EQW.
 
ok, dellete ALL .txt files in release? and How do you play without using EQW? no matter what you go through the patcher or eqw.exe, is there another way to get in? I appreciate the feedback Kero. I've been really stumped as to why its been phreaking like this, it's always worked relativly well on my comp.

He tried it, didn't work. He has now unistalled the game and offically gave up . . . Well I don't know what was wrong but thats one less player to the world of dalaya, which kinda sucks. Anyway thanks for trying to help Kero, I really appreciate it.

He gave up after just a little bit of trouble? Sounds like he wouldnt have liked the game anyway so probably is for the best...
