Help no SOUND

After effortlessly thumbing through the forums i havent seen this topic anywhere, or anything close to it. So ive made sure in my options menu at log that i have sound turned on. Its the only thing i know to do and it wont work. Im running Vista home prem, on a dual core amd 64. Not sure what other specs to include... Thanx for any help...

Options when you first start the SoD client. check the sound checkbox and push enter to continue

If you want to verify it manually, once you are logged in check your Game Directory\eqclient.ini file and look for

Sound=TRUE

If neither of those work, Ctrl/Alt + O (can never remember until I try) in the game to bring up your Options window and check your sound there.
