i just patched SoD. and it opened eqgame.exe and started running eqwindow... it then said "error opening packed file, "eqfeart13.pak!" what do i do? anyone know? I took off eqwindow and it does the same thing.

Did a quick search for similar problems, no definitive answers but people seem to be able to get round it - few possible solutions;

That sounds very odd. Try bypassing the patcher by simply running eqw.exe and see if that works. And if the patcher doesn't fix itself in a day or so, try deleting files.txt and select patch all from advanced.

after getting silly errors like that, I reinstall the patcher program, and run the fix again (overrighing the help files, etc) then SoD works again.

Are you able to run it without the patcher? If so, just let the patcher download the files and manually move them into your Game directory and run the game without the patcher.

Try those.
