Help me new player here

Can anyone seriously like call me or chat with me on how i get the SOD stuff to work i have sat here trying to get this stuff to work and its really not working please anyone that knows what to do or anything please help me out...

I doubt anyone will call you on the phone, but there is an IRC channel at irc://shardsofdalaya.com you can try for help in. /join #sod. Also, you could post here with some more details about exactly what it is that you are having issues with. Vague would be a good word to describe your post.

i load the patcher and its still conecting to the live server when im useing the Sod patcher

Does your eqhost.txt file in your game folder look like:
[Registration Servers]

"67.205.76.13"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"67.205.76.13:5997"
}

?
