just wanted to introduce myself.
I am new to SoD but have kept an eye on EQ server emulation for some time.
I am staff at a LAN party in Sarasota, FL and the numbers have been taking a big hit to MMOs so I figured I might as well check out what's out there.
I remembered trying to get an old EQ emulator working back in the day (not EQemu) so I decided to see how it had developed.
That led me to EQemu, which led me to the PEQ server.. which wasn't very thrilling.. when I asked around at the LAN party one member tipped me off to SoD. I have enjoyed it thus far and am now getting a few of my friends into it.
(I'm also trying to play FFXI.. :-o)
