Hello New World

Hello

I once was a addicted EQ player and I have tried to return to the originally game as well, but I have felt that **** has made too many unnecessary changes. So am giving this new world a shot. I have played EQ about from the being until about 4 years ago. Now that I have more time in my life I want to play an Everquest world again. I want to 2box again like I used to but I can't seem to find the trusted websites I used to go to figure out how to 2box again on 1 computer. I want to 2box a Warrior/cleric. I have a family member that going to box a wizard a bard. Almost the same group we used to run on the quellious server back in the old EQ days. If anyone from the quellious server that knows me feel free to say hi. My Main characters where Mors deimos and Canes Candystick and I was in the guild Eternal Honor Legion.

Anyways I haven't log on yet. I found out I needed to subscribe once again to EQ to get all the content downloaded so i could play your game which is fine. It will be worth it again especially if it like the originally EQ.

I just need to know how I would set up 2boxing again. I feel like am and old man and don't know what to do, but am excited because this game that I played so long ago was the best game I had ever played.

Anyways I hope to see you all in the game. You mind see me around it will be a group of Elfs that for sure. =)

To box, you simply log in one character, then run patcher again, log in another character on another account. You will want to check the eqw box on the patcher, to make sure you are in windowed mode. Then alt-tab to switch windows.

I'm not sure I understand your comment about subscribing to EQ to get the files. There is no need to pay that other company a subscription fee just to get on SoD. You can get all the files you need by buying the titanium edition disks on Ebay for cheap. Your family member could even go half on the price with you and you guys could share the disks.

Hope you get it sorted out, and welcome to SoD :D

If you have a milti core processor, I find that binding each of the sessions to a different core makes each session run faster and less crash-prone on startup.

This stat may be all in my head, since I haven't done any actual comparisons, but it may help so I'm throwing it out there.
