I wanted to introduce myself as one of the new people running around on your server. I originally started playing EQ when it was first released and played up until about two years ago. The vast majority of that time was spent playing on the "Test Server". From what I've been able to experience, SoD has much of the feel that the Test Server had (small population).
Originally I started out as a Warrior, and was the primary tank for the servers main raiding group up through Temple of Veeshan. At that point we lost alot of our clerics and we were dead as a raiding organization. I switched to a cleric primary at that point and played that up until I left the game two years ago. Our raiding group was clearing almost all of Plane of Time at around that point.
The main question I have is.. What classes are needed on this server? For me, I get most of my enjoyment from playing a needed and usefull class. I normally would have made a cleric again (i actually like playing them), but now I live in the country and I'm stuck with a very crappy 28.8K internet connection. I'm pretty sure I'd make the worlds worst cleric with my connection. Initially I have decided to make a wizard. I wont wipe out a raid if I go LD
Hopefully they are needed. If they aren't, I'm open to suggestions.
