Hello all, I am a long time official EQ1 player recent coming back from hiatus. I dual box a high-elf Enchanter and Vah Shir Bard, Azaeark and Felicat respectively.

I simply had one question that I could not seem to find in the forums nor in the wiki. Do Bard and Enchanter haste stack? I know there is an upper cap but I was wondering if Felicat sang Jonthan's Whistling Warsong and Azaeark casted Quickness would the effects stack with one another?
 
I know for a time they did on live, and I believe they made it so you can't, So I personaly would ASSUME they do here.

I'm new too, waiting on the patcher, so I can't give an official answer. =/
 
Bards get both unstacking haste and stacking overhaste. It depends on the song and the slot the haste runs in.

Welcome to the server. Having Cat in your Vah Shirs name will not last though
 
best bet for a name is just hammer the keyboard and get compleatly unleated characters that in no way shape or form resemble any sort of name in any fashion.
Failure to do so could and probally will end up with a name nerf at some point in time.

I could see if I named my vah shir some outlandish like Kittycat or something like that but nerfing the cat in felicat seems rather draconian since the pronounciation is Fel-ic-at. But if the server mods decide to nerf it I guess I will change it. Thanks for the information about haste stacking~
 
They are more strict with Vah Shir because that was one of the stipulations of using them on this server.
 
Vah were originally disabled on the server for years so people wouldn't make stupid cat names and jokes. Just say no.

Edit: For clarification, not in ooc or your name pretty much covers it.

Seriously, names like:

Purrpurr Lickpaws
Hellokitty Meowmix
Murrmurr Pawwcatt

... they just make it feel like I'm playing Runescape. It's better with the naming policy.
