Health, mana and stamina regen recap...

Hello,

I would like to make sure I understand everything correctly...

Health (hp) regen

-You regen health a little bit faster when sitting.
-Being in combat or not has no effect on hp regen.
-Being hungry stops hp regen.

Mana regen

-Mana regen is fastest when you sit down and enter a state of meditation (which happens if it's been over 30 secs since your last cast) and you are not in combat.
-Mana regen is faster when you sit down and enter a state of meditation while in combat.
-Mana regen is not faster when you sit down and do not enter a state of meditation, weither or not you're in combat.
-Being thirsty stops mana regen.

Stamina regen

-Nothing actually regens stamina faster. However, it is possible with songs/spells (AAs?) to slow down the rate at which stamina is depleted.
-Sitting and being in or out of combat has no effect on stamina regeneration.
-Being hungry stops stamina regen.

Did I get everything right?

I think this is a good attempt to sum it up, and while we're at it, let's make everything clear, I'll start adding my assumptions (feel free to correct obv) :

Health (hp) regen

-You regen health a little bit faster when sitting. > yes
-Being in combat or not has no effect on hp regen. > indeed should not
-Being hungry stops hp regen. > no

Mana regen

-Mana regen is fastest when you sit down and enter a state of meditation (which happens if it's been over 30 secs since your last cast) and you are not in combat. > totally
-Mana regen is faster when you sit down and enter a state of meditation while in combat. > yes
-Mana regen is not faster when you sit down and do not enter a state of meditation, weither or not you're in combat. > not sure
-Being thirsty stops mana regen. > yes, eventually it completely drains your mana too.

Stamina regen

-Nothing actually regens stamina faster. However, it is possible with songs/spells (AAs?) to slow down the rate at which stamina is depleted. > yes only drains slower, not sure about songs but some buffs and items (with worn effects of the same spell)
-Sitting and being in or out of combat has no effect on stamina regeneration. > I think sitting helps regen faster, but combat doesn't change anything
-Being hungry stops stamina regen > yes, eventually it completely drains your stamina too.

Also want to buy a recap of all caps for hp, mana, stamina in all situations !

this is also important

3) There are no more "fleeting" mana/hp regen caps. The caps are at 30 mana regen from spells, 20 mana regen from items, and 40 hp regen from items.

Very stupid question. What's specifically meant when you say:

"ENTER A STATE OF MEDITATION"

When you open your spell book, after a few seconds (believe it was stated 30 seconds from your last cast, and you're not in combat) you will 'enter a meditative state' which means you regen mana significantly quicker.

You don't have to open your spell-book, just sit. You can meditate in-combat as well, it's just less effective. You see a message in your chat window indicating that you have begun to meditate. Oh also you need to put at least one skill point into the meditate skill to be able to do this.

I've really really noticed a substantially less mana regen rate in SoD vs. Live. I totally know this is not "Live" , that's not really the point.

I seriously thought a time or two that my character was bugged because of how insanely slow the mana regen was.

If you trained in meditation and your out-of-combat mana regen is really slow then there probably is something wrong with your character. In-combat meditation is intentionally slow to discourage certain classes from staying out of the action most of the time.

Also allowed them not to have to give Raid mobs massive hp boost since you can't just have healers taking turns sitting and meding to any great effectiveness on the raid (like live allowed you to do).

I actually don't remember anyone doing that even in very long fights like Emp. My understanding is that CH and "twitch" are changed from live, which I would guess makes more difference with cleric mana than meditation does.
