If your thinking about spending the 9 AAs for Guardian Rune I suggest against it. The final rune is roughly 700-750. Refresh time of ten minutes. Yes it's free and mana less, however there is a casting and as a plus you can cast it on other. But in my opinion y ou will be better off getting a mage to summon you peridots and use rune VI during fights. Given the level of mobs your fighting to get this level of the AA it is not worth it.

Since you have to be 65 to get this level of protection I had hoped that it would be like live anyway or at least an improvement over rune VI. I can only guess that since it's able to cast on others is why it's so low on dmg absorb. I'm not sure what the protection is for level one and two since I had the full level III bought already.
