Having trouble with tomes!

Having a bit of trouble with tomes if you guys haven't heard me complain on /ooc you're going to hear me here heh. So I know it's buggy and I've been told by a lot of people it should work around 260 or 270...but I've been clicking from 250-271 and it still pops the same message saying I don't meet the requirements. I currently have 271AAs all spent and I'm slightly irritated it's not working. Please don't start by saying I should finish these AAs before tomes, thats irrelevant to my problem, all I need is a solution. Thanks in advance and I'm gonna slow down playing the game until I can completely just stop for a while. Been fun but vacations over, back to school, studying, and a whole bunch of other responsibilities. I'm sure the GMs are irritated with my petitions because I haven't gotten any responses from them each day I did one heh, so I'm not going to try anymore. But any clues anyone? Thanks in advance! Been fun while it lasted.

Yep...I've verified several times lol...I've open the book and it says 250 and no previous tome requirement. I really don't want to delete the book and buy another one to see if it might work.
