Having a Problem

Hey Everyone, Im having a problem. Im trying to run Shards, and I get half way or 3/4 of the way through and it says that it doesnt have enough memory to run Shards, and that I need to turn the graphics down.

But this computer should be able to run it? It has xp, its all decent stuff? Is there a bug that would do this, or do I just really need to turn it all down?
 
You have to hit the enter key to move past the model selection screen, the next button doesn't work. The models will still work just fine.
 
My graphics card is Intel 82845G/GL?

I think i got 256 ram?

and its after the character selection or before it when it says like loading frogloks and all that stuff
 
If you have onboard graphics card it will not run. 256 ram is also tiny, most would recommend 1 gig or more for smooth gameplay.
