Hates Fury

With things like better charms and many more times that are being mentioned, that kinda makes that tier 6/7 group you're referring to originally into more of a tier 7/8 group, which is fine, cause honestly from what i've heard of the raiding content which requires the captain's log, that's right around where it starts. So i don't really see a problem with the difficulty of hates fury, not like a group that can't complete the 6-man can go kill all of ikisith raiding content, let alone any at all.

You have been drastically misinformed. The first raiding content that requires the captains log would squash a t7-t8 tank (Unless you mean the redcon monkey in refuge, but that hardly counts). Our tanks even occasionally take half their hp in a round, and we're talking really geared toons. But the loot is appropriate for the difficulty. There are also rewards along the way (new spells, access to runics.. and something special for finishing the refuge quests that is not in game yet and my lack of it makes me cry every patch :C )

Honestly, the refuge quests takes long enough that even if you got hatesfury done at t7-t8 unless you are the most mccoy kind of player it's going to take a while to get them done. We got stuck at points for days being dumbstruck with puzzles (thanks cyzaine :toot:) not to mention all the stuff that was broken (Thanks again cyzaine! :toot:) and then the stuff that was just gear/time sinks. However, gaining access to vendor spells (for some classes) and getting accesses to runics (also, some classes) would drastically help in some areas even in Lower/Upper thaz, tower of tarhyl, and plane of frost.

Basically, get it done, and take the low hanging fruit from the tree first.

oh god please let it be a neck. And let there be a gruplok one too.

Telling people that hates fury is doable at tier 6 and then saying "well, provided they have tomes and good charms" is pretty silly. It takes a long time to get most of your tomes done and to farm, say, a juggo (let alone an eternal or supreme). People that are dedicated enough to get these things probably progress beyond tier 6 by the time they have them.

I think a group in mostly tier 7 and 8 items with 1-2 tomes done and 100k charm doing HF is a lot more realistic than a group of tier 5s with 4-5 tomes and eternals, since the latter is just not really in existence on this server.

Eh, from what I've seen after attempting this 4 times, it all comes down to the named before last and it's 8-10mob pull. And it's rough on a T8-9 group, I really don't see a T6-7group doing it anytime soon altho possibly once they get alot of the ikisith tomes done they might.

This is wrong

I just did this with another group of less then perfect set up, although most of the toons are qualified to be tier 8 we were all playing pretty garbage. The only pull that really seemed that it could own a low end group is the first mate, his hp, dps and back riposting is basically hardcore as shit and really serves as a gear check:(

I've done the 6-man but I will say I am a bit puzzled that there is no alternative method to purchase the new buyable spells. Seeing as how none are overwhelmingly powerful it might be a nice bone to throw if you could eventually obtain them through gruplok faction or whatever.

I agree however we don't actually know this isn't possible already.

If you're referring to the Galley Wench, you can split off a 4-pull first, so you don't actually need to deal with 8 mobs and the named at the same time.

I've actually done the Galley Wench and Captain's Guards with a Tier 6/7-ish group. The Galley Wench wasn't bad, but the Captain's Guards were definitely a fluke victory we only managed with really fortunate timing with exceptional group heals and ultimate/primal blasts.

I do agree that time would have been an issue had we realized that we were going the wrong direction to begin with, and that it may be a little out of reach for the majority of Tier 6/7 groups.

With better charms and a lot more tomes, who knows.

I was referring to getting Navigator and every single mob in the room as soon as anyone steps foot inside it, I just think around 10mobs + named is just to much to handle for most people. Unless of course you aren't supposed to get every mob and it might have just been bugged the 3 times I've done it.

I said this is wrong , it still is.

Yeah... this isn't a 10-pull if you're careful.

Wait until the roamer is not there, that's probably what is causing the whole room to chain aggro.
