Harmony and breaking camps

Heya everybody,

I tried to use Harmony Yaralith recently to break up camps, but it didn't work. I didn't expected it to, really, since mobs spawn very close to each other and it makes sense to have them be "aggro-linked" in a dungeon environment.

However, I later tried to use it on a large Goblin camp in Goblinskull. I peppered the camp with Harmony then fired an arrow at the closest one, and the whole camp came after me. Since the mobs were standing fairly far away from one another, I suppose they, too, are aggro-linked.

So I'm just wondering... Is it working as intended? Or is the spell broken or my understanding of it inadequate? If it's working as intended, I can deal with it with no problems, but well... what use is it now? :what:

Thanks!

Of course, but both Yaralith and Goblinskull are outdoor zones. You can't even cast it indoors, and I definitely casted it, and saw the spell effect of the spell landing.

Was also working for me in Epl just fine. But I cast it on multiple mobs just to make sure they all are in AE range of it.

Rule of thumb: If you think, they may even come single. but you are not sure, use harmony. Eldenals is a good example. The 2 stationary guards at entrance come single with harmony, will add without. Then, after the single at the tree, the next 2 aren't splittable, though they seem just a little closer together.

So it's not useless at all, just not as easy as on live. Allways have root and snare memmed ;)

I think the deal with harmony is that if a mob can see another being pulled it will come as well. So you have to be inventive most of the time while using it. That or get a bard or enchanter to group with you.

You mean that its effects are negated by line of sight? Eh, could be. Note, it'd make sense, and it'd explain how a whole harmonized camp could be pulled if only one mob is attacked.
