Halas faction for newport rings

I was wondering if there is a way to raise halas faction if you're already KoS. As a DE necro I start out glaring in Halas and I'd like to be at least non-KoS so I can do the portion of the newport rings quest that involves the alchemist in Halas. If there is no way to do this already in place might I suggest a way to get around this for evil folk who would like to do the newport rings?
 
You should be able to invis to the Alchemist(or is he threateningly too?). I moved him a while back because of the fact that folks were KoS in areas of Halas.
 
Doh, chalk this one up to stupidity on my part if he's on a different faction. I had been to halas earlier for a different reason and con'd around a lot and found everything to be KoS but I'm pretty sure i didn't check the alchemist himself. I'll report back if he does happen to be KoS. Thanks for the help.
 
I managed to do this with an iksar necro, indeed tha alchemist was indifferent, and no roamer nor guards around him, and all shopkeepers are green I think.
For people who don't have invis, check your closest enchanter for some barbarian illusion, that should make you dubious ; but beware the shamans and beastlord remain KOS for some reason, even if you don't have to walk by them just pay attention.
