long time gamer here, new to EQ. i was recruited into the game by a friend from a facebook game that shall remain nameless. goofed around a bit on the sony server and now i have loaded the SoD client. honestly i am rather overwhelmed by the UI. stuck in the dream and no idea how to move on...... there seems to be a wealth of information, i am just having difficulty sifting through it all. any and all advice would be appreciated. I also agree with you that the dream can be a little bit confusing. Use your mouse and target the first guy and click the H on your keyboard. The H button is like saying "hey whats up ?!" to the person you are targeting. from that point on you will notice that he has some things he needs to tell you. Read what he tells you and just respond using the phrases he needs (normally the yellow text)
If you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to ask anyone in the <Goon Squad> room in mumble (voice program you downloaded that came with the client). Only requirement to say in this wolf pack is upon entering the room you must howl. If you do not howl to let yourself known as a part of the clan you will be removed.
