'Ello all, i would like to take some of your valuable game time to allow you to get to know me a little. i had played EQ for about a year or so before gettin tired of havin to buy a new expansion every month an' tryin' to deal with the new CS people they have.
i know very little about the game and intend on bein the steotypical noob.
i have only played one race/class and plan on stickin with barbarian/warrior.
other than that i guess there inst much else to say other than i am lookin forward to groupin with ya and wipin the occasional group or raid. accidentally of course

Advice:
(1) This isn't Live.
(2) Re-read the rules. They're pretty clear and easy to follow, but only if you read them. The Policy Plaza and "List of Annoying Things That Get You Jailed" are also worth being aware of.
(3) Stay in <Dalaya's Beginners> so long as you remain a noob. It's a good way to un-noob yourself.
(4) Read the Tome of Knowledge. It's a lot of information, but it really helps if you rid yourself of the "it's probably the same as it was in Live" mentality on pretty much everything.
(5) This isn't Live. It was worth repeating.
(6) In a community this size, reputation is darn close to everything. General politeness (except in one certain forum) is invaluable.
(7) Intelligent questions tend to get answered in <Dalaya's Beginners>, the forums, or if needed, /ooc. Since /ooc is server-wide, though, a barrage of questions there isn't advisable.
(8) SoD is awesome once you adjust. So adjust and enjoy!

I see you already have all the good advice above. SOD wiki is also a great resource, but can be a spoiler, so use it accordingly.

Oh, and if you ask in /ooc what a cat's tooth is for, I may be tempted to say "it was for that poor cat to chew his food." If I or someone does, just realize that many of us are borderline insane. We really can't help ourselves.
