Hi , I've been playing on a monk , and apparently wearing h2h weapons (knuckles etc) , I do ALOT less damage while wearing them , when I go barehand , I do consiterably alot more damage...

this is the same for my warrior , wearing mace , I do less damage than just bashing things with my fists , whats up with this? , and what should I do about warrior ? mace is so much less damage than just doing barehand combat, but.. Idk..

Monk fists (barehanded) ratios are pretty leet. There is a ratio chart for barehanded monk/bst somewhere. The H2H weapons however, are better for some levels, but for some levels they arnt.

Your warrior thing is just some kind of change that was made I guess to all class H2H that set them a little screwy. Prolly once someone actually reads these posts and gets around to fixing it or if someone bug lists it, then it will be fixed. Its not a big deal since higher level h2h sucks terrible for non-monk/bsts. If you think its better right now, go ahead and punch away!

....also, don't be confused with DMG per hit, compared to DMG per Second.... because they are significantly different.

yeah I figured at higher levels the H2H thing would become weaker for non-monk/bst , but at lowbie its like hacks DPS for any class to just punch things :(

Considering the number of times it's been brought up (lots), I've lived under the impression that it's working as intended, making hand to hand useful for something.

After all, you're going to want to train those weapon skills for later, anyway... right? (Yes)

That's tonight, right? Maybe I should go punch someone in the ankle before then, just for fun.

the way i see it all working out is, when you are low lvl you are better at damaging mobs and such with h2h, because however old your characters are they spent the beginning of their "life" without a weapon. you'd think they'd be proficient in it, do more dmg, etc..
just my defense for the system as it is anyway. they know how much dmg they can do with their bare hands, but give anyone in modern days a sword, they dont know how forcefully they could swing it, how deadly they are with it, or what not.

Should be fixed as of this patch

... "fixed"...

Bummer, I guess I should have started an alt in the last 3 years.

That said, what actually was broken? Is there a problem with the dmg/dly table, or is it simply a matter of "we feel that rebalancing was in order"?
