Was a huge EQ player and still play EQ2. Fan of the lore and feeling nastalgic, i thought i'd give some classic a look, and heard about you guys through a google search.

I was wondering if you had a fairly active group of people playing? Problem with a lot of MMO's is how spread out they are and how much the player base lacks people doing lower level stuff.

Anyway, any responses are welcome. I mostly just wanna explore=).

If you're looking for the original (GAME) and it's lore, you're in the wrong place.

If you're looking for a custom server with the magical feel of the original (GAME) and a great community, but with new-to-you and different lore, storyline, quests, and pretty much everything but art, then ... Welcome, we hope you'll be happy here!

Just like any MMO (not just emulators) the top end will be a bit more crowded than the low end. However, because of this, you can usually find low level groups filled with twinked out characters who can (usually) give you advice about the game and/or help you with a few items (I know I grouped a ton with most people's alts and met a lot of higher end friends that way). It is fairly easy to level here, so getting to 65 is pretty simple. At peak hours (usually EST/CST/PST evening) we usually average about 350-400 players, and at the low time (usually morning of the states) there are about 100 or so players online.

Sometimes you might feel discouraged if you cannot find a group, but you can two box for free, and there are A LOT of quests you can either two box or find one other person who is boxing (or even if they aren't) and finish some quests for some exp/items/knowledge about the zones.

The community here is great, the lore to the server is awesome, and the content is (generally~) very fun.

You should like it here more than Live.
