He tells you they will keep track of kills such as plants/sproutari and so on, but since I've been doing it they have only counted 3 kills. You get a message saying the guards recorded the kill but have only seen it a few times.
 
I'm solo when I farm there (unless killing robots but those are not counted on the quest) and have killed over 100 npcs that the guard lists easily.
 
I've had a problem with this quest, too. I've literally killed hundreds of each type of plant in the first area and he always just tells me "Well, you've barely done anything!" Handing him anything only results in him giving it back. I've never received an e-mote for anything I've killed. The quest does, however, show up in my journal.

Ya you have to be solo to get credit for kills, being grouped with 1 person will null this quest.
Also seems you need better faction then the faction you start with to get him to talk to you,
example bard with aa's could talk to him np, but cleric had to faction boost with him to get text.

Even when he does count them, i think after 80 kills credited i only earned less then 6plat.

Just kill Guardian Kylesto instead...
he drops a no level req 30sec cast time Complete Heal clicky that goes in ammo ~
 
thats the thing though I was solo for alot of kills, and then it randomly counted 2 sproutari back to back then notta the rest if the night. gave me 2 plat so I guess sproutari are worth that.


Edit: went this morning, I got the emote for 1 out of 4 sproutari kills but now kylesto doesn't respond to hails :/
