Grobb newbie necro quests as erudite

Is it possible to do the grobb necro quests as an erudite? I was able to talk to everyone except sytha, who gives the main quest. I'm mainly interested in the staff
 
I am not even sure a Erudite can get into the city. I think they might be KoS. Dont quote me though.
