Grinch

It would be cool for a Holiday season event to add the Grinch that stole Christmas to the game as an event. The grinch could be an adept of whatever level (making it so raid geared-65's can't engage it ) Say the Grinch steals the Santa Trolls and all their gifts and must be defeated to free the Santa Troll before they can appear in cities.

possible loots could include:

Items from the santa troll
Items that don't drop anymore like the cloak peaching voices
Tmaps
Other ideas?

Also, people who participate in taking him down could be tagged with double exp for like 48 hrs.

I always thought that a level 64 max engage adept would be cool

Why adept?

Events are usually pretty lighthearted and can compensate for the derned raid-geared 65s without the level restriction. The restriction makes it so basically nobody can participate without a specifically xplocked char (if it is the same level as another well-raided adept) or by dumb luck. Exceptions being level 1 events

Why not just have several grinches sprinkled around in level specific zones. You can have them range from super newbie and up to red to 65's if you like. Loot would be according to level of each grinch / zone he is in.

Besides who says there has to be only one grinch. I'm sure there are plenty of grouchy old geezers running around at there anyways. =)
