I just wanted to say hello to everybody, I have been reading these forums for a while and wanted to express my appreciation to all the helpful and courteous people on these forums as well as in-game.
I just heard about SoD over the weekend and I have been blown away by what I have seen. I used to play EQ live when it first game out and have never had a gaming experience that has compared to it.
So far, I have found this FREE server even more fun than the original: the playerbase is perfect, the people are (mostly) kind and courteous, and the original gamplay is still as attractive as it used to be.
On my first day of gamplay, I got the chance to be a complete newb again, and I loved it!!! I forgot how exciting it all was. I even met a player kind enough to help me level by providing tips and bandages and helping me get accustomed to the game once again. This has just made the experience that much better.
Before I continue to get even more sappy, I just wanted to say thanks to the admins/devs who have made this possible. You guys rock. Expect some donations soon
