Greetings from another newbie

Hello. I've been staying away from mmorpgs for a while, but since my friend had said that this was a fun time sink, I decided I would try it. I heard about the free server from a post on a forum:

I'm completely new to EQ, so I figured i should ask my questions here.

1: Does this game have a Tutorial?

2: Does it run like most other mmorpgs (i've played Wow, and RS, thats it.)

3: Is it new player friendly?

1) After character creation, you start of in "The Dream", a basic tutorial that familiarizes you with basic game mechanics.
2) Only other mmorpg I've played was old school EQ back in the day, but in talking with others about different games, I'd say it's prolly comparable.
3) I think so. You start the game off in a guild called "Dalaya's Beginners" in which you can ask all sorts of new-player-type questions.
