Graphics... Not what you remember...

I successfully made an account with EQEmu to play, and all went well. Until... I got the patcher running, it finished what it needed to do. I click 'RUN' and off I go.

I got to through the two splash screens, and suddenly I am faced with my video card option. I click whats available and then it tells me that my memory can't handle all those models? What gives? I can run EQ normally with all models running and now I can only choose two !!??

I have a GF4Ti4200 and my PC mem is 512. More than enough to run everything normally. What do I have to do make this work with the new models?

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
I have the same problem. But it doesn't appear to actually have anything to do with your computer, I think this is just an error. Try this: When at this video option screen, hit ENTER instead of clicking the OK button.
 
Thanks ianmcu... When I logged on the first time, I was stuck with the old graphics of yore. So I logged out and after my post, I wanted to check something. So I went to into my EQClient.ini file and found all the Luclin models set back to FALSE (because of the graphic card situation described in my first post). So I changed them all back to TRUE. I logged back and lo' an behold, the updated character graphics were back... Thanks again ianmcu for your help! :D
 
After reading this post I checked my .ini to see what the models were set at, and found that most of them were FALSE. I was wondering if I could change them all, or even just a few, to TRUE as well.

I have a gf2 64mb and 256 ram. Is it possible to change to the new models with these specs?

To be honest... If you had the card when you played EQLive, and could run with all the models on, then it will be most likely you will be able to do the same here...

Give it a try and see what happens. If you get bogged down, you will need to turn some back to FALSE...

This is a known issue. When you select the models you want press 'enter' instead of hitting the 'Next' button. That will get it to work.
