Graphics Issues (first time user)

Hello,

I'm a first time user of Shards of Dalaya, excited when I found out about it.

I have installed my version of eq, ran the SOD patch, followed the instructions on this forum.

When I get to the character screen, my characters graphics start to glitch. These glitches continue when I enter in the "Dream". There, depending on what actions I take, the glitches continue erratically and do strange things that are hard to describe.

For example, when I sit, it takes me under the world into water where sometimes I eventually die. When I walk, my character seems to just bend randomly.

Ultimately, it makes the game unplayable. I searched through the forums briefly and couldn't find anybody else with this problem. Any suggestions?

Edit: Forgot to mention I have an 8600GT graphics card. I noticed there are similar graphics card that have verified issues.

I just read a post that suggested switching the binding affinity. This worked. Case closed.
