Graphic Slowing Problem (Radeon 9700)

Hi I was wondering if anyone had similar problems concerning their graphics slowing up every so often.

Basicaly I have a Fujitsu Siemans 3GHz Amilo A series 1630, 512 RAM with a Radeon Mobility 9700, which in my views should play EQ with no problem at all.
Consistantly whilst in EQ my graphics slow up (as if im walking and fighting etc in slow motion) and then get itself back to speed. This changes back and forth within minutes of each other.
I have tried changing windows and EQ screen resolutions so that they match but still no change what so ever. This also happened to me with EQ2 too and I have not tried it with EQ live, I was wondering if anyone had any idea what could be going wrong.
I have also used later graphic drivers and the most up to date drivers but still no change. I am fully up to date with any EQ updates and windows updates if that means anything.

Any feedback would be most greatful.

Do you think it has anything to do with a processor throttling or something like that?

Hi mate, I found out whats wrong with mine. My Laptop is overheating as my air vents and fans are on the underside with there being little room for the hot air to escape.
To overcome this I slightly elevated the rear of my laptop allowing for the hot air to escape easier.
Bit of a silly thing to have to do, but I dont see any other option as of yet.
