Grace of Sympathy

I would like to request that ranger be added to this item. Since the removal of 4.3 arms, the only ranger HI8 is a tank helm. Currently bst and pal are on the shoulders and ranger is the only healing hybrid missing from them.

"Class Addition Requests
Contrary to common belief, there are in fact items that do not correspond to the common class combinations, or that can only be used by one or two similar classes, and are actually supposed to be that way. So unless you have a better argument for why an item should be <my class> usable than "This here other class that shares armor type/casting stat with mine can use it and I can't!" please do not post a request to have your class added to it. If you do post without a good argument for your class to be added to it, the post will be trashcanned."

I agree that Ranger being on this item would be nice. So I will try to take a stab at making an argument to put RNG on this item.

I am not sure if it is simply a problem with rangers but shoulders are a very hard slot to upgrade.

Looking at the Top 5 ranger list (lolz):

2 of the top 5 rangers in the game are using Blood Mist Amice that are T9 shoulders from early Tower of Tarhyl. The rangers on this list are very well geared in almost any other slot. There is no reason why an item should last 3-4 tiers of raiding especial one as mediocre as this.

The other 3 are rocking Shoulderpads of Decaying Matter from early Spires of Saitha. Unlike the item noted above this is around the correct tier for their over all gear. However, the item seems to be more so geared for a healer time class despite the item being all/all and it is rather lackluster for a ranger.

Currently the "best" ranger shoulders in the game are:

Epaulets of the Inexorable Dream OR Dhuro, Conceal of the Assassin

The Mistborn shoulders for their teir are simply amazing. They also have AE7 helping rangers do more DPS with their Runic 1. If you're killing Gloom however they should start to feel a bit dated. I feel that these shoulders seem so great because there is a lack in shoulder slot items for melee/ranger DPS.

Dhuro, Conceal of the Assassin are also simply amazing shoulders. However since they have bane damage on them they tend to go to the four other melee that can use them first because rangers bows do not benefit from bane damage.

From an outsider point of view none of this really shows why Ranger should be on this item.

Dhuro pretty much solved the ranger shoulder crisis, but no rangers have gotten it yet because its a relatively new mob, killed by 1 guild, and that guilds most active ranger is possibly my alt

however, considering my ranger has grace of sympathy in the bank, i wholeheartedly support this thread

Hey now...Kedrin gets experience points with me sometimes.

Also, I am kind of surprised Marza said 'sorry' instead of 'shuttup', because that post was pretty much worthless. Sorry Kaz...

I am usually against items just getting classes added to them unless there is a severe lack of other items in said slot. I think Kedrin at least attempted to make that argument, but I think Dhuro is a fine shoulder item for that tier.

SORRY (SHUTTUP) RANGERS

i actually asked marza this very question a few months ago and im pretty sure he called me an idiot. CRISIS AVERTED

Yeah, I am still confused why Marza said 'sorry'. I think maybe his forum account got hacked or something. Your story makes a lot more sense, Eisley.
