Provide the ED maps and Chaotic Winds dudes will destroy them for you in exchange for the vah quest item (vah blade). You can claim a piece of gear loot too (and the cash of course) , no problem!

Send a tell to Septima if you ever want to take some CW dudes up on that offer.

Tao edit: I removed the line about the "cash reward". That constitutes buying [NO DROP] items, and I trust it wasn't offered with the intent of breaking the rules.

It is no different than paying someone a "bonus" if a mob happens to drop a specific no drop item. Which happens to be illegal.

It does seem odd, I think the issue is that its hard to know exactly where to draw the line between this sort of thing and just straight up selling end-game raid loot to the highest bidder.

My suggestion: pre-arrange an amount per map to pay the supplier of the map to defray the cost of the (droppable and purchasable) map. Make no connection to any [NO DROP] items that may or may not drop. When doing the maps you've helped pay for, make sure the raid motd includes you calling dibs on the quest piece.
