Good guild?

I was wondering if there were any good guilds out there for new/low lvl characters. I read through some of the information on the guild forums but I am not sure if it is all up to date, some of it looks kind of old! I just started playing today and have been feeling a little lonely! I tried to talk to people in the beginners guild but never got a single response. A few people a ran into were nice and helped me a little. Guess I'm looking for some fun people to adventure with since I am currently a little lost. I used to play years back but stopped about 5 years ago. I can't remember everything and a lot is different on SoD.

Hehe, wish my old guild was still around from back then!

Check out the guild forums for a list of the various guilds. There are very few that recruit lower level characters; most are raiding guilds. When you create your character, you are in "Dalaya's Beginners" by default, so there's plenty of people there to ask. I'd recommend staying in that guild until either you meet other people you like from another of the guilds that recruit any level, or you're higher level and have a better feel for the various raiding guilds out there. There are people who are level 65 and still in Dalaya's Beginners, so there's nothing wrong with that. ;)

Allready said that the beginners guild so far has been useless. No one responded to any of my questions or attempts to make conversation. I'll go through the list again though, maybe I missed something.
 
Eh, DB is odd, but don't write them off yet. That being said, nothing wrong with looking around some more, plenty of newer guilds form all the time.
 
In my experience DB is far from useless. Maybe you logged in at a particularly dead time? Most people in DB are happy to help since they have been in the same position as you themselves.

Some questions do get old though, you might want to check the wiki before asking everyone.
 
Another plus about DB is it is full of alts of veteran players who have a lot of knowledge.
 
Yeah ill agree alot of people who are on there Newly or newish created char keep themselfs in DB till they have the right requitement levels/AA's I know i still help people out when i log one of said chars in
 
Check out "Twilight Underground." Send a tell to Woldaff for more information. He normally gives out free lowbie gear and plat too if you are determined enough! I would send him a PM right now; I hear he's very giving right now.

Yes, it is a pretty pointless circle jerk though. People vote their friends up and enemies down, regardless of what they actually say. I aim for low rep, at least that way I know at some point I've added just a bit of extra stress to someone's life. Enough to make them pound furiously at the keyboard, typing something I will neither read, nor care about. It's like killing them slowly with a tiny olive fork.

Thank you all for the info! I was on quite a bit the other day and there were people talking but it was like I was muted or something. It just could have been a bad time I guess.

I got some of my problems worked out but I can't get maps to work at all.

I'll send those PMs though!
 
Hit backspace to access your maps. If they're not showing, you need to either scroll in/out, or turn off the height filter. (click it)
