i haven't played sod in the last few months, because real life kept me really busy. real life will continue to keep me busy for at least a few more months and i don't know when and if i will be able to play games as much as i used to. whenever i happen to have some time to play games at the moment, then i play guild wars, because it's more focused on casual gaming than sod. the fact that endless quiver is now gone, also doesn't exactly encourage me to return to sod. in guild wars my ranger has an unlimited amount of arrows. i will still be reading the forum and my private messages (maybe i'll even log on irc every now and then) if you want to stay in touch with me. feel free to send me a pm if you want to play some gw with me or if you simply want to chat.
anyway, i am going to retire from sod and there's many people who i will be missing. i won't mention names because i will most likely forget many people. well, ok - i will mention a few people (and forget to mention many others :keke

first of all: RUIN! everybody in ruin! i will miss you guys! we had an awesome time together! we raided all night long and beat every mob wiz and his staff would throw at us! we sure had some fun and good times. i will miss our exp- and raiding-sessions. i will miss our little chats. thanks for all the fun through all the years!
of course, i also have to mention wiz: thank you for this awesome server! i enjoyed it! our opinions weren't always the same (endless quiver, cough), but you did a good job. thanks for all your efforts! i hope you will find somebody else to update the mapset, now that i am gone. good luck with dawntide!
then i want to mention rabb: you're not in ruin any more but we had an awesome time playing this game together! good luck for your future!
i also have to mention liam: you have always been very kind and it was you who ran the first event i ever participated in. i was still a noob back then and i will never forget how me and my group helped the mavassi to get into grieg's end. that was the best event ever! i remember that i was such a noob back then, that i wanted to hide from the bad guys behind some crates because our healer had to med, lol. needless to say that hiding didn't help us in any way. see you, dude.
good bye, melwin/zodium: many people hated you, but whenever i talked to you i went like: omg, why do people hate this guy? he's cool! i know that you retired too, but i hope that you still read this. i still laugh when i think about how you and breaker used to throw very bad words at one another during events - while you were "role playing" that you hate each other. :haw:

further i want to mention tinkaa: i enjoyed our exp-groups and especially our chats about drum&bass! keep it rollin', baby! boooh! make sure to visit me when you come to vienna and then we'll go to an awesome drum&bass party. we'll dance and drink and smoke da herb! vienna isn't that long of a trip for you...
