going to sod patcher and told to repatch message

I was on the site this morning and it ran fine. Then this evening I logged on but the game said to repatch so I exited out and ran the patcher again, I got the same message. So I went back to the patcher and went to advanced as the choices allow. I proceeded to download to patch again completely when i was done I got the file missing mss32.dll and since then cannot get the game to work. Any suggestions? Please spell it out step by step, for instance, say click this do this type this very slow, I have no clue what I am doing so cross your fingers for me.
