Gnomish Ballistic Transit System

There is this cool effect during the Steam Powered Jump Pack quest -- where if you fail in a certain way it launches you into the sky (and you die). 10/10 would fail that quest again.

How fun would it be to have tinkered (?) one shot port clickies that used that effect (sans death of course)? Answer: super fun.

To not step on dru/wiz toes, make them outdoor-use only, and with a chance (1/1000?) of catastrophic failure.

So, instead of plummeting to your death instead you zone once over a certain z-height. No idea if that's even possible to code, but I found the idea amusing, reminded me of the cannon travel system in secret of mana.
