Listiless

Hey I'm trying to start an enchanter named Listiless but the server rejects it ;(

This was the name of my enchanter on Live and I would like to name the one on here the same. I assure you it has no relation to the spell "Listless Power" I came up with the name before I even knew that spell existed :)

One more thing, I have 1 gig of ram and EQ wants to tell me now that I can only have 2 models?? I can super easily run EQ with all models on, what's up with that?? I have to go to bed soon I'll be waiting for a response. Thanks! ;)
 
1) Read the naming policy real quick

2) Your live name means nothing to us.

3) It's already taken by someone else and that's why you can't use it.
 
Well, the name isn't taken (didn't show up via Wanelo) so you can be sure 1 and 2 apply in this instance.
 
It's in the filter, most likely because someone else used to have it and had their name changed.

I was wondering if you could make an exception to the naming policy for Listiless.. I mean.. that's my enchanter man come on!

That "you used this name on live" does not mean it magically bypasses the policy. We will not tolerate this excuse. Use the rules here, not the non-existant name rules on EQlive.

But Listiless is a legitimate role playing name! My enchanter character was Listiless Ringare.. I'm not trying to have some gay name just for the hell of it, I really grew attached to that character.

So are you saying there are absolutely no exceptions to the rule?
 
Why are you guys being so cold about this? I thought this was supposed to be a friendly community... now you're saying I can't even use my role-playing name?? At least tell me what is so wrong about it.. is it because the word "list" is in there? or maybe "less"? I mean seriously! I would love to know. I don't even think I'll make a character if it can't be List.. come on guys plz.

The Avatar is a misleading but if you look closely, you will see that the teddy is not smiling - so one can infer that this sadistic version of Pooh is loving the pain he is inflicting on the poor defenseless teddy. Makes me question my choice of Pooh for my baby's theme.

And /beg is pretty much broke, so the most it might do is draw aggro.
 
I don't see what's wrong with Listiless... It's not a word. Sure it bears some resemblance to "Listless", but there's a whole other syllable in there.

Offhand it looks like wordplay.

i.e. Listless with an I between list and less. Listless is a word and your name too closely resembles it. Just an offhand thought though.

What the hell? I gave my opinion on the matter, there's no need to be a jackass.
 
A) My name has nothing to do with the class I want to be.

B) I made this name for an enchanter.. it is a roleplaying name of mine.

C) Ok, compared to Shamislow... what do you think I might be trying to convey with a name like Listiless? That I'm weak? Come on.
