Glitchy Cursor/Screens on VMWare

I've looked around and I can't find a thread on this... I've just installed Titanium in Windows 2K Home within VMware fusion on my mac book pro. I have 3-D acceleration turned on. Game patches fine but once it gets to user agreement screen, the graphics flash in and out, and my cursor is either invisible, or is moving so fast that it's useless. I can't navigate well enough to get to the options screen. If I just press enter all the way through, a pretty flawless character selection screen comes up, but the cursor is still useless...
